History
St Crispins Mental Asylum - Northampton
Well, what is not to say about this place, one of the Top 3 most haunted, scariest and amazing places we have have ever visited, so much so we went back again for another investigation, but this time we were more than equipped, more kit, more batteries and more underwear!! This visit was to deliver more than we could ever have expected.
St Crispins Psychiatric Facility was established in 1876 and closed as a working hospital in 1995 there it sat decaying and abandoned. It housed many patients young and old with mental health difficulties, it also doubled as a military hospital during the First World War - So as you can imagine the residual energy on this site is immense and intense.
We have never had a quiet visit to St Crispins and watching this video you will see for yourself on your journey with us. We were also in the company of UK Haunted for this one, bringing their experience and knowledge of the place Miki York said " I have been coming here often for a few years and it never fails to deliver " How right was he .....
Whether we encountered young children, mentally insane adults, convalescing soldiers or dark entities, there was no escaping what happened here.
Not only was there no running water or circulating air here in the 1800's and also no heating, but cruel attendants would often beat or kill inmates, sometimes infront of other patients.
We had our own names called out on spirit boxes and have been personally referred to, we have been physically assaulted with flying debris, smells of sulphur coming and going - Plus much much more.
Get yaself a cup of tea, make yourself comfortable, dim the lights and submerge yourself in to the film, BUT beware its not for the feint hearted.
